‘Saint Mary’ star takes on role in new series

Iranian actress Shabnam Qolikhani known for her title role in ifilm series ‘Saint Mary’ is to star in new TV project ‘Anam’.

Besides the actress, Samieh Lak, Majid Vasheqani, Amir-Reza Delavari and Kourosh Zarei are among the select cast.

According to the series producer Ismail Afifeh, the filming project is halfway through.

Shabnam Qolikhani must be a familiar name to ifilm viewers as she starred in the series ‘Saint Mary’. She has some other small screen works listed in her resume, including ‘A Stairway to Heaven’ (2009), ‘The Fifth Sun’ (2009), ‘Ancient Land’ (2010) and ‘Five Kilometers from Heaven’ (2011).

The new project’s scenario is written by Amir-Abbas Payam and directed by Javad Afshar.
